After book analysis, I detect few dissimilarities in glyph shape in comparison with the original specimen. It was visible on the first sight mostly in lowercase f, but later I found more of them. For instance: j, J, hyphen. The main dissimilarity is in ascenders and in descenders which is much narrower in the book version.

Tiny changes we can see in glyphs width, but all it is because Kennerley was copied for Linotype matrices, which require the same width for roman and italic. Both of these weights are placed to one, two-letters matrix.

Intertype Corporation copied Kennerley under name Kenntonian. And because it was cast for different kind of matrices, they had to make a few changes.

Kenntonian specimen reveals more curiosities in the whole story. Because in that time Kennerley Bold wasn't designed yet, they combined Kenntonian with Cloister Bold. (Kennerley Bold was designed in 1924)

This unusual combination was used together on two-letter matrices. Maybe shapes of letters are a bit similar but not proportions: Cloister has smaller x-height, smaller cap height and smaller figures than Kenntonian.
