My name is Sláva Jevčinová and I am a type designer. I hold an MA in type design from the Type and Media programme at The Royal Academy of Art in The Hague as well as an MA in graphic design from J. E. Purkyně University in Czech Republic. After an internship at Mota Italic in Berlin, I specialized in TrueType hinting at Fontwerk. I have been working independently since 2013.

Not only willing to enhance the digital experience of people using my types I started to practise sign painting years ago in order to dust off the tip of my fingers with a more prosaic approach. Because as the Godfather said "I've learned more in the streets than in any classroom"
